The Idea
Virtuous Psalms was established upon two decades of medical expertise, with the objective of serving the community through compassion, patience, virtue, and efficiency, while prioritizing client convenience. The proliferation of telehealth, accelerated by the COVID-19 pandemic, has revolutionized healthcare delivery; however, certain clinical data traditionally obtained during in-person consultations may be challenging to acquire remotely. To address these care gaps, Virtuous Psalms provides comprehensive services, including vital sign measurement, point-of-care testing (such as glucose fingerstick, A1C, INR checks, and urinalysis), in-home EKGs, urine specimen collection, and blood draws.
The Plan
Our team consists of mobile examiners, also known as medical assistants, and phlebotomists dedicated to collaborating with your organization to enhance care for patients who are homebound or reliant on telehealth, as well as those requiring annual employment health screenings or drug testing. We also offer DNA testing services for individuals seeking clear genetic insights. Our mission is to deliver elevated, convenient care tailored to your specific needs.
A business is born. Now the hard work starts. Prayer, faith, hard work, dedication, and a heart to serve will grow this vision and help the mission I am on flourish and come to life

It all begins with an idea, or a vision if you will. The vision birthed by passion, in this case, a gift of servitude combined with a passion to want to serve others. Healthcare presents a plethora of opportunities to serve and help others in an endless amount of ways. The pursuit of this vision requires unwavering dedication, constant learning, and a genuine commitment to improving the lives of those we serve. We are driven by the belief that everyone deserves access to quality, compassionate, and convenient healthcare, and we are committed to making that vision a reality, one patient, one community, at a time.

To cultivate such an idea, we incorporate research, planning, expertise, and acknowledge that trial and error, opportunity, and funding are integral components. It is often beneficial to commence with smaller steps, seek assistance when needed, establish incremental objectives, and progressively advance toward achieving larger goals. The utilization of SMART goals, which are Specific, Measurable, Attainable, Realistic, and Time-bound, proves to be advantageous in initiating the process, establishing solid foundations for realizing the envisioned aspirations.

Expect growing pains; they are part of bringing a vision to life, and while it's not always easy, it's definitely worth it. Now, the real work begins: marketing, outreach, and putting in the effort. Stand by what you offer, be honest in your work, and do it with heart.

💡 Fun FAQs: Mobile Health & Community Impact
These FAQs address common questions and highlight the broader benefits of our mobile services for the Pine Bluff and surrounding areas.
Mobile Health Screenings: Bringing Wellness to You
Question: "What's the real benefit of a mobile health screen vs. a clinic visit?"
Answer: It's all about convenience and time savings! Mobile screenings eliminate travel time, lower costs for patients, and help reduce long hospital waits. We come to your workplace or community center, making it easier to manage your health without taking a whole day off.
Question: "Do I need to fast or prepare for my screening?"
Answer: Not always! While some tests, like basic glucose or lipid panels, may require fasting, many others do not. We'll tell you exactly how to prepare when you schedule. When in doubt, you can usually stick to water!.
Question: "How is a mobile clinic good for the Pine Bluff community?"
Answer: Pine Bluff, like many areas in Arkansas, faces healthcare challenges, including the need for more frequent cancer screenings and chronic disease management. We bridge the gap between urban medical hubs and underserved or rural regions, offering preventative care and early risk identification (like for diabetes or heart disease) right where people live and work, which helps improve overall public health.
DOT/Non-DOT Testing: Keeping the Community Safe
Question: "What's the biggest difference between DOT and Non-DOT testing?"
Answer: Rigidity vs. Flexibility! DOT testing is rigid, detailed, and non-negotiable—it strictly follows federal laws (like 49 CFR Part 40). Non-DOT testing is flexible and customizable to your company's own safety policies, allowing for different drug panels or rules.
Question: "How does drug/alcohol testing protect the local Pine Bluff economy?"
Answer: By ensuring a safe, compliant workforce, especially for transportation and other safety-sensitive jobs. A compliant workforce means fewer accidents, lower risk, and stronger business operations, which supports local companies and keeps the community protected.
